By downloading, purchasing, or using Pilot Logbook Scanner, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Conversion aid—not an official record authority
Pilot Logbook Scanner is an aviation logbook conversion and review tool. It is not the FAA, an aviation authority, a flight instructor, a legal advisor, or an official system of record. Automated extraction, field recognition, and calculations can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for verifying results against the original record and applicable requirements.
3. Required user verification
Automated processing can misread handwriting, dates, aircraft identifiers, airports, remarks, signatures, decimal values, struck-through entries, or column boundaries. Compare every page, entry, and total with the original before approval or export. Keep the original paper logbook and independent backups. Do not rely on Pilot Logbook Scanner as the only copy of a legally significant flight record. Confirm that every CSV meets its destination application's requirements before import.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the logbook photographs, entries, notes, and other content you provide. You grant Pilot Logbook Scanner and its service providers a limited license to transmit, crop, process, cache, store temporarily, reproduce, and format that content only as needed to provide, secure, recover, and support the requested features. You represent that you have the right to provide the content.
5. Purchases
The app includes three free preview pages. Additional scan-page credits are consumable in-app purchases. Available products and prices are shown in Apple's purchase confirmation before you buy. Apple processes payment and controls refunds. Consumable credits are associated with the device and app records used to fulfill the purchase and generally cannot be restored like non-consumable purchases.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, bypass security or purchase controls, upload unlawful material, interfere with other users, attempt to obtain private service credentials, or use automated methods that unreasonably burden the service. Do not use the app while operating an aircraft or vehicle when doing so would be unsafe or unlawful.
7. Intellectual property
Pilot Logbook Scanner's software, design, branding, and original app content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the app and do not transfer ownership of its content.
8. Availability and changes
Internet, Apple, Google Cloud, and other service availability can affect app features. We may update, repair, limit, replace, or discontinue features to improve safety, accuracy, cost, or compliance. Uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
9. Disclaimer and limitation
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Pilot Logbook Scanner is not responsible for a lost record, rejected import, regulatory issue, or other loss caused by relying on unverified output. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
